Pro-jallikattu protests gather steam across Tamil Nadu

3. The BJP's State president Tamilisai Soundararajan appeals to students to give up the protests. "Tamil Nadu BJP will lead a delegation to meet the Union Environment Minister on 20th January," she says.                       
   "The delegation will include representatives of Alanganallur, Palamedu and Avaniyapuram villages," she says.
   Earlier on January 14, she said the Tamil Nadu BJP committed to conducting jallikattu across the State.
